Museum Project

For the museum i visited was the Bower Museum in Santa Ana. This museum has art from many different cultures such as Art of Asia, Art of Africa and Native American Art. I went to the museum with a couple of my classmates. We had a fun time looking around at all the art in the museum.  I wish we could of stayed longer but the museum closed at 4 oclock. Maybe i might come back to this museum again another day.

Class Discussion Hamlet

In class we watched the movie Hamlet. We watched different parts of the movie. We would watch a part of the movie and then talk about it after. After we talked about the different parts of the movie we got into groups and had to define the meaning of the word beauty. We had to come up with our definition of it. Then each group said what they thought beauty is. After that we took a break. After the break we watched the people who had to present still do their presentation.

Class lecture 11-8-11

Today in class all we did was presentations. We watched about 6 people do their presentation. I had to grade this week because i am presenting next week. After like 3 of the presentations we took a break and then came back to continue the rest of the presentations. After we talked about another project that glenn was going to give us. He said he is going to bring in a list of them next week then we have to choose which one we like. After that class was over but i had to stay to evaluate the presenters. After me and 3 other people came up with the peoples grades on the presentation we got to leave.

Class lecture potluck # 2

Today in class we had a potluck. Some people brought stuff for us to eat. I brought animal cookies for people to eat. We weren't in our regular room where class usually is. We were on the second floor in a room with bigger tables. We watched the movie terminal 5. It showed us how the terminal was built and all the things put in to build it. The movie was about an hour and a half long. After the movie was over we took a break and then had presentations.

This week in class we started off by watching Avatar. We watched about 5 parts of the movie. After we watched the parts we discovered what was the theme of the movie. After we talked about peoples vision of themselves in another world. We talked about identity. Glenn showed us 3 other peoples version of their animated self. We then watched a short clip about a little asian girl. It was a cartoon story. I thought the story was pretty funny. After we watched the story we took a break then when we came back some students did their presentations.
